Foreign assistance to India
SAUDI ARABIA
- Saudi Arabia shipped 80 metric tons of liquid oxygen to India.
- The urgent supply shipment is being undertaken in coordination with India’s Adani group and Linde company.
- The group is also securing 5,000 medical-grade oxygen cylinders from Linde Saudi Arabia.
OTHER COUNTRIES
- The United Kingdom has announced that it will ship over “600 pieces of vital medical equipment” to help India fight COVID-19.
- Singapore has donated four cryogenic oxygen tanks to India.
- Australia has announced that it will send oxygen, ventilators and personal protective equipment (PPE) kits to India.
- The Germany Army will ship a large oxygen production plant and other authorities are working to provide respirators, ventilators and huge quantities of Remdesivir and other medicines from German emergency stocks.
- France is sending to India oxygen generators, liquid oxygen containers, ventilators and other medical supplies by air and sea to support the country in its fight against surging coronavirus cases.
