Nepal Bomb Blast
- At least eight persons were injured on March 14, when a "pressure cooker bomb" exploded at a crowded government office in Siraha district's Lahan in south-eastern Nepal.
- The Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morchac(Revolutionary), an armed outfit led by Jaya Krishna Goit, claimed responsibility for the blast.
- It said that it was part of the outfit's "campaign against corruption".

- "Terai People's Liberation Front;" also Terai Janatantrik Mukti Morcha (TJMM)) is a political organisation in Nepal.
- It was formed in 2004 as a split from the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-M) around Jay Krishna Goit.
- It aims creation of a separate Madhesh state for Madhesi peoples in the Terai region of Nepal.
- The group accused the CPN-M of not guaranteeing the autonomy of the Terai region.
